Item# O-022S
Your Cost$ 144.00

Chinese guardian lions, known colloquially in the west as Foo Dogs, can be spotted all over China. Snarling and ferocious, they often appear in front of temples, palaces, and government offices. Said to offer protection through mythical powers, guardian lions originated in China’s Han Dynasty (206 BC-220AD). A pair of lions traditionally features one female, who nurtures a cub, and a male, who is seated with a ball.

These guardian lions add regal flair while keeping diligent watch over your garden! Made with an outdoor-friendly ivory colored finish, each pair is embellished with antique style details. Each lion is about 9.5 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches deep. Each weighs about 9.5 lbs.
