Aguayo cloth is traditional to Bolivia and can be found all over Latin America. It is made in a variety of brilliant colors and beautiful patterns. Traditionally worn knotted around the neck, aguayo is part of women's every day lives, used to carry children or transport groceries. These earrings feature repurposed aguayo cloth and transforms it into an entirely new accessory. Because it is made of repurposed materials, each pair of earrings will look different. Crafted by fair trade artisans, these earrings are a lovely mix of contemporary design and cultural tradition.
