A layered statement necklace built from recycled sari textile wrapped into rounded beads, each one variegated with the prints of its former life. Made in India in the Kantha upcycling tradition, where scraps of vintage cloth are stitched and shaped by hand into wearable objects.

  • Material: Recycled textile beads on cord, with brass chain extender
  • Size: 20" plus 3" extender, 4" drop length
  • Details: Clustered bib silhouette in mixed red, crimson, and berry tones with occasional printed motifs
  • Origin / Craft: Handmade in India using recycled Kantha textile wrapping

The beads are packed into a two-row bib that sits softly against the collarbone, each sphere slightly different in tone and pattern. Fabric wrapping gives the piece a matte, tactile finish that reads as sculpted rather than strung, and the muted brass extender keeps the hardware quiet against the color.

Care: Keep dry and store flat to preserve the textile wrapping.
