A technique of Indian jewelry making, meenakari was introduced to the country by the Mughal empire around 1500. Meenakari is the art of applying color to surface metal. Though these earrings are inspired by traditional Indian handicraft, they are made Thailand from sterling silver and thus are a truly cross cultural piece! Earrings are about 1.75 inches long.
