Michelangelo's David is perhaps one of the most famous sculptures in all the world. A depiction of the biblical hero, David, from the story of David and Goliath, the statue was originally intended for the roof of the Cathedral of Florence. However, it was deemed too exquisite (and heavy) to be placed so high. The original 14-foot statue now stands at the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence.
Replicating the intensity of Michelangelo's masterpiece, this reproduction statue is a powerful presence in any space. Made of cast stone and featured on a black base, statue measures 15 inches tall, 5 inches wide total, and 4 inches deep.
