Eternal Springtime by Rodin Statue, 10 Inches

Item# T-001B
Your Cost$ 68.00

Rodin's sculpture, Eternal Springtime, was made around 1916-7 and it was modeled around 1884. It was originally intended for a separate piece, The Gates of Hell, which depicts a scene from Dante's Inferno. However, the euphoria of the subjects did not quite fit The Gates' darker themes and so it was left out of the final piece. Eternal Springtime was extremely popular, and Rodin repeated it often both in marble and in bronze.

An image of passionate love, this reproduction statue is a romantic and stunning presence! Finished in a resplendent bronze color, statue measures 10 inches high, 10.5 inches wide total, and 5 inches deep. Indoor use only.
