Developed in Scotland and handcrafted in the USA, this Celtic pendant is created through a unique process used by only a select group of artisans. The pendant is in the form of an annulus. The term “annulus” is Latin for “little ring.” This shape has been used in jewelry since antiquity and represents an unbroken ring with no beginning or end.  The Celtic heart is formed from one continuous line and represents the spiritual, emotional and moral core of humankind.
These ceramic pendants are handcrafted in Michigan from fine-grained, translucent porcelain clay. The intricately designed images are fired onto the surface at 2200° making them permanent.  Each pendant has a satin finish and comes with a braided 32” rayon cord.
