This lovely brass bell produces a clear ring when struck with the small cast hammer. An interesting accent for your home. Made in Thailand, it measures 12 inches in height and 10 inches wide. A small hook screwed into the stand makes a holder for a cast iron hammer. The stand is made of teak wood.
Cultural Description / Significance
The design of the stand is reminiscent of the traditional architectural style in Thailand. The bell used here is similar to what many Thai farmers use with their cattle.
