Made of medium density Cedrela wood in Ghana, the African vase measures 15 inches high with the 4.5 inches diameter of the lip (actual opening is about 2.5 inches). The vase has a mask accent on three sides. Perfect as a stand alone or with your floral arrangement.
Cultural Description / Significance
Ghana, previously known as the Gold Coast, has been a supplier of timber (mostly Mahogany) to Europe as far back as 1833. The practice continued until 1945, but after the introduction of pit-sawing in Ghana and the country began exporting manufactured lumber.
